PANEL: UltraViolet: The Cloud – a silver lining?
While cloud-based digital access service UltraViolet is making inroads in the US, it is on the starting-block in Europe. It is elbowing its way into an already crowded market of content delivery options. There is scepticism in some quarters that the case for UV has yet to be made convincingly. What does UV-compatible services and equipment mean? How easy is it to sign up? With whom, how much and how long the contract? What about security and geographic restrictions?
